Many religions globally reference or hint to a “return to the light.” Metaphysically we refer to this as ones “Light Body,” a state of being that is outside of the flesh and structured atoms, a return to our Source. While some mystics and high-level practitioners have been rumored to be able to attain this state of being, everyone else enters this usually upon death, or near-death experiences (NDE).

Andye Murphy, over on GAIA (please join!), has a wonderful overview of a “Light Body,” what it is, how is it attained, and what it all means. Please take the time to educate yourself on potential experiences we may find after death. It gives one an appetizer of thought, and I believe it has a lot of ancillary evidence to support this belief. There is a reason cultures and religions speak about “the light after death.”

The time has come to declare, “Enough is enough!” It is time we restore the individual freedom and self-determination our country was founded upon. A time to give back compassion and dignity to our most weakest of times. We all have seen a relative or loved one suffer in their final chapter of life; worse, some of us have seen the loss of dignity that the human condition of dying brings upon even the noblest of us. The strong brought into weakness, the independent becoming dependent, the mentally sharp sliding into mental confusion. It is heart-wrenching!

Many of us dread how we might die, what will be taken from us by illness, or accident. The burdens we will place upon our family, loved ones, and friends. We think to ourselves, “If ever in that medical or mental condition, please LET ME PASS before I lose all my dignity! Don’t let me become what I am not…” But for most, due to Federal and State laws, we are not given many choices beyond pain medication, which takes away our dignity, and for some, mandatory advanced life support.

But a movement is afoot! Several States have passed “Death With Dignity” laws, restoring some limited freedom and self-determination for end of life decisions. Pioneer Freedom Fighters like Dr. Kevorkian have been mocked, ridiculed and cursed by the misguided masses fed religious indoctrination about life and death by their clergy that fail to explain to them how implied and interpreted those doctrines really are in the ancient text fragments. The ignorant and politically motivated called “end of life” discussions with their physicians, “Death Panels.” Politicians and Judges cite “Only God has the right over life and death!,” yet do not know where or how that doctrine became established. That is just what they have been taught… End of Life is firmly in the grip of “Church” in State (laws). But that is changing!
